New for 2017 in Primary Schools

A new year with some exciting new food for 2017.

This year we have some exciting planned monthly special days and our fruit of the month featuring reduced-sugar desserts.

In January we enjoy the delights of a Chinese Day on 27th and feature rhubarb recipes as our noinated fruit of the month

February 28th we enjoy pancake day and banana is the fruit of the month

March 24th we celebrate Comic Relief and it brings us the cheerful orange as our fruit of the month

April 25th is St. George's Day and the lovely kiwi fruit is sampled

May 18th we travel to Australia with a spot of pineapple to eat

June 27th we feature a Wimbledon special day with some delicious strawberry recipes

July 4th takes us over the Atlantic to America accomapanied by our watermelon recipes

September 21st we focus our travels in Italy with juicy apple recipes

October 19h see Diwali Day and pear recipes

November 3rd we will warm up for Bonfire night with our fruit of the month- clementine

Christmas lunch day with tasty lemon recipes

In addition to our fruit of the month recipes, we provide surprising facts surrounding the fruits with a quiz and feature colouring-in for the young artists in our schools.
